Values in Jewish-Christian Sources and Tradition and the Possibilities for Dialogue is an interdisciplinary research programme that examines fundamental values and virtues in Jewish and Christian sources and their significance for contemporary society. The research encompasses biblical texts, Jewish and Christian traditions, theological thought, the psychology of religion, canon law, and literary and cultural interpretations throughout history.

The programme focuses on issues of justice, human dignity, solidarity, peace, interreligious dialogue, and human rights, exploring how these values can contribute to addressing contemporary social, cultural, and ethical challenges. By integrating theological, humanistic, and social-scientific approaches, the programme strengthens the understanding of the shared spiritual foundations of European culture and promotes dialogue among religions, cultures, and diverse social groups.

The research outcomes contribute to the advancement of scholarship, education, and culture, while fostering the development of a more inclusive, just, and dialogue-oriented society.
