Faculty of Humanities, Alma Mater Europaea University

The Faculty of Humanities of Alma Mater Europaea University (AMEU–ISH) is a higher education and research institution with a long-standing tradition of interdisciplinary humanities studies across all three Bologna cycles. In the fields of religious studies and theology, it has developed unique competencies within the Slovenian academic space. Its principal areas of expertise include comparative religious studies, postmodern philosophy of religion, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, contemporary critical theology, and feminist and ecotheological approaches. The Faculty is also active in academic publishing through the journal ISH Monitor and specialized publication series that introduce previously unexplored theological topics in Slovenia. Within the RESILIENCE-SI consortium, AMEU–ISH participates as a partner institution, bringing perspectives from contemporary religious studies, religious traditions, and critical theological reflection into the European research area.
