University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Theology
The Faculty of Theology (UL TEOF) is a member of the University of Ljubljana and the only higher education institution for theology in Slovenia. Its origins are rooted in the historical development of theological education in Europe, while today it serves as a modern research and educational institution integrating theology, religious studies, philosophy, and related disciplines. The Faculty operates in Ljubljana and also maintains a unit in Maribor, ensuring broader accessibility to its study programmes. UL TEOF offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programmes and conducts scientific research in the fields of religion, ethics, and society. It also plays an important role in academic publishing through the publication of scholarly journals and monographs. Within the RESILIENCE-SI consortium, UL TEOF serves as the coordinating institution, responsible for coordinating activities, fostering collaboration among partners, and facilitating the integration of the Slovenian research community into the European research infrastructure.
